NEW ALBUM 'THE HUTCH' - out in March 2013!
2 years and 3 UK tours further down the line, Steak Number Eight have evolved into a band that can make a difference and leave behind their tracks of musical mayhem. The audience licks their wounds. Performances at Graspop Metal Meeting, Dour Festival and Pukkelpop not only turned Steak Number Eight into an experienced, well-oiled touring machine … the band also recorded 11 smashing new tracks for the longawaited successor of ‘All is Chaos’.
On the new album ‘The Hutch’, Steak Number Eight digs deeper than ever before, finding a perfect balance between devastating guitars and a hopeful sense of melody. With a worldwide release on Norwegian label ‘Indie Records’ (Cult of Luna, Kvelertak), Steak Number Eight can finally measure themselves with their big brothers of Isis, Mastodon, Deftones, Tool and Neurosis.

The Hutch’ was produced by Reinhard Vanbergen (The Hickey Underworld, Drums Are For Parades) and mixed by Matt Bayles. Howie Weinberg (Deftones, Faith no More, Pantera, Ween, …) signed for the mastering credits.
‘The Hutch’ will be released in Belgium on March the 18th on Indie Records through a Suburban distribution. Out on April the 22nd for the rest of the world!

Steak Number Eight @ Dour Festival
We have been confirmed to play this year’s Dour Festival, one of Belgium biggest festival. We are all really excited to play this festival next to great bands as Baroness, Meshuggah, Kvelertak, Amen Ra en Red Fang!! We will open the festival on ClubCircuit Marquee Stage. Hope to see you there!!

Belgium’s STEAK NUMBER EIGHT have announced their first ever UK headline tour for May 2012.

With an average age of just 18, STEAK NUMBER EIGHT have been making quite a name for themselves, slowly but surely earning fans through a stunning live show, picking up rave reviews in the rock and metal press.
With latest album “All Is Chaos”, the band merge stunning aural landscapes of Isis with the firey riffing of Mastodon wrapped in Killing Joke’s punk attitude, delivering a concoction that belies their young years.
